One Yellow Rabbit is the longest-running theatrical ensemble in Canada. The Ensemble creates new, original theatrical works each year and has toured its award-winning brand of performance across North America, Australia, Asia, Mexico and Europe. So far the company has created over 75 full-length productions. The style is known for being physical, interdisciplinary, experimental yet entertaining, intelligent, often funny, and indigenous in that it is conceived and performed by artists from Calgary. The OYR Ensemble won the Lieutenant Governor of Alberta Arts Award in 2007.
