Frank Rackow and The Black Sea
Frank and the band offer up a spicy mixture of Klezmer, swing, Eastern European, Balkan and traditional Yiddish tunes, with nods to modern pop and jazz. It's fun, danceable, melodic and sometimes exotic. Guaranteed to have you smiling and tapping your toes.
For this special concert, experience a unique fusion of Klezmer and Turkish music as Irfan Aydogdu (saz) and Bijan Maysami (santur) join the ensemble.

A hometown favourite, John Rutherford is a singer/songwriter and bluesman extraordinaire. His work is laced with the spirit of the blues and fuses a broad range of influences, creating a sound distinctly his own. Throughout his long and storied career Rutherford met, learned from and performed and recorded with many of the great blues legends of our time.

Allison Lynch
Allison Lynch is a singer, songwriter and actor. She sings jazz, pop, R&B, folk and classical. She is recording an album of originals and classic jazz standards, incorporating her violin, piano, guitar and ukulele chops. Lynch has appeared on many of Calgary’s stages and has received multiple awards and nominations for her performing and composing skills.
