The health and safety of One Yellow Rabbit’s audiences, artists, staff, stakeholders and volunteers is our top priority. One Yellow Rabbit and the High Performance Rodeo staff and board are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation. Currently the risk of contracting COVID-19 in Alberta remains low. We recognize and support the public compliance with public health advisories to keep yourself and the community healthy.

At this time, The Big Secret Theatre is open for venue rentals, scheduled events and performances.  As a resident company in Arts Commons, both One Yellow Rabbit and Arts Commons have taken measures to ensure the health and safety of attendees, audiences and performers.  This includes increased frequencies in cleaning and disinfecting of the public and backstage areas both in and around the Big Secret Theatre. Alcohol-based hand sanitizer dispensers are also available inside the Big Secret Theatre.

In conjunction with Arts Commons; we are diligently monitoring and responding to any changes in COVID-19, while following the recommendations and directives from Alberta Heath Services and the Government of Canada’s Risk-informed decision-making for mass gatherings assessment protocol. We are maintaining open communication with colleagues, stakeholders and the City of Calgary, and are committed to the health and safety of our community, audiences, artists, volunteers, and staff.
