ProArts @ Noon Concert Series

Wednesday, Jan. 17th 12pm - Spirit of Ukraine
Pianist Lyudmyla Heath and mezzo-soprano Stephania Romaniuk will share Ukrainian folk carols, powerful classical ballads, and haunting duets, which are interspersed with poetry and stories showcasing the unbreakable Spirit of Ukraine.

Wednesday, Jan. 24th 12pm - Bijan Maysami Trio
Bijan Maysami (Composer, Iranian Dulcimer, Santur) will be appearing in concert with Anastassiia Alexander (Flamenco Dancer) Greg Goldenberg (Guitars). The concert will feature Iranian fusion music compositions by Bijan Maysami and will include a guest Flamenco artist.

Wednesday, Jan. 31 - Kenna Burima
The old archetypes are dying but our stories still need to be told. Join Kenna Burima as she retells her Hero’s Journey in song form from birth to death. Using the narrative template of Joseph Campbell’s monomyth, Kenna weaves together twenty years of songs and a lifetime of stories into a 40 minute noon hour listening experience. www.kennaburima.com
